Why Do Video Marketing?

Online video is one of the best venues to engage an audience – don’t event think about excluding it.

This new medium allows the video creator to communicate a message on multiple levels – via visual imagery, the spoken word, music and visual text. This is the way people learn, and consequently, the way legendary brands are created.

As a case in point, think of traditional internet marketing; when was the last time that a paid search listing or banner ad raised your blood pressure or induced you to forward something to a friend?  Get the point?

Internet search engines are the primary vehicle by which consumers search and find what they are looking for these days.

In a recent attempt to enhance the search experience Google bought YouTube, a leading movie sharing community website.  Immediately afterwards, Google displayed YouTube videos on the first page of the search results. Obviously, Google realized that the users get a better experience with video content embedded in their search results.

Videos rank higher and faster in the search results than any other media type.   Sometimes you can get rankings within hours of uploading, distributing, and marketing the videos online.
